Bunky told Lucille
"Go walkin' out in the rain
and don't come back til you bring me somethin' 
to put up in my vein .
One more ride 
Lucille , your man needs

on the other side ." 

Lucille said to Bunky
"You call yourself a man ?
But you can't give me what I need
I gotta find someone who can .
One more ride 
Bunky , all I ask is

So Bunky said "Go out and score !"
Lucille said "I won't go!
I'd rather watch you die right here
than watch you diein' slow 
from one more ride 
Bunky , it's always

There's no world of sunshine waitin' for you
on the other side ."

Lucille made a little bit o' Gumbo
and she put it in the pot .
She ground some glass up in there too
so he'd forget her not 
On his last ride
Bunky , you said you wanted  
one more ride

on the other side .

Doc-doc-doc-doc-doctor  
I feel like I'm gonna die
If you can't help me live a little longer
won't you help me go out high ?

Doctor - all I ask is

Now Bunky's in a pine box
in a burial yard
Lucille walk the streets
she looking good but looking hard
for one more ride
she says "Mister - would you like
one more ride ?
There's a world of sunshine waitin' for you-hoo
upstairs on the other side ."

Well did this really happen
or was it just a dream ?
You look deep down inside yourself
you're gonna hear somebody scream
for one more ride
