June 13th 1949 Dennis Locorriere born in Jersey City , New Jersey
1969 Dennis joins an un-named bar band in New Jersey . Guitarist George Cummings later names the band "Dr. Hook and The Medicine Show"
1970 Dr.Hook & The Medicine Show perform music for and appear in "Who is Harry Kellerman..." starring Dustin Hoffman
1972 - 1985 Dr.Hook enjoys the highs and lows of a 15 year recording career , with constant international touring . They are awarded Silver , Gold and Platinum Discs for record sales worldwide . They even got their picture on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine .
May 19th - June 18th 1985 Dr.Hook perform their "One and Only Farewell Tour" of UK
But Dennis assures us ..... "There is a happy ending !"
1989 - New York City Shel phones Dennis to invite him to perform his one man show "The Devil and Billy Markham" at the Lincoln Centre . Dennis agrees to do it !
May 1st - June 1st 1991 Dennis visits UK for First Solo Tour playing 18 venues and 2 BBC Radio 2 Studio Sessions
May 1992 EMI Release "Completely Hooked" compilation CD
1992 Dennis undertakes 5-week mini-tour of UK and promotes "Completely Hooked" His new band comprises Steve Simpson on guitars , Mike Bell on keyboards , Paul Kirkby on Bass and Richard "Hud" Hudson on Drums
Jan 1995 Dennis appears on what is to be the last album by legendary US Folk-Singer Bob Gibson "Making a mess of commercial success : The songs of Shel Silverstein" Bob Gibson died on Sept 27th 1996 , aged 64 ,having developed a supranuclear palsy, a neurological disease that affects the brain
Nov 2nd - 19th 1994 Dennis undertakes mini-tour of UK playing 14 venues
Feb 1999 EMI releases "Love Songs" by Dr.Hook The CD includes liner notes and 3 solo tracks by Dennis . Dennis comes to UK to tour and promote the CD
Feb 14th 2000 Track Records releases Dennis' "first" solo cd "Out of the Dark"
April - July 2000 Dennis undertakes tour of UK including The Shepherds Bush Empire in London.....

Oct - Dec 2007 Dennis finishes the year with a solo fall tour
Jan - March 2008 During the "Dear Mr Fantasy" rehersals (see Jan 21st 2007) Dennis talked with Bill Wyman and Terry Taylor and just mentioned he'd like to maybe join them at a couple of "The Rhythm King" shows . July 10th 2009 Dennis , along with a whole host of other musical stars , played to a packed audience at Liverpool's Echo Arena to mark the second Beatles Day charity event . Dennis sang Eleanor Rigby and Lady Madonna . Accompaniment was provided by The Backbeat Beatles and The Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra , working with original scores by George Martin . June - July 2009 Dennis has spent a couple of weeks in London recording studios recording more than a dozen tracks for his solo CD - release date and title TBA . (DL confimed in a Guestbook entry on this site that with Planning + Luck = Spring 2010 Release) All of the songs are self-penned , previously unrecorded and specifically selected for this project. Although Dennis has performed a few of them live in his solo shows over the past few years , these are all new studio recordings . Here's the list : Call Me Different Faces Ask Her Sinking Ship She Don't Care Standing As Tall As I Can Crashing Down Dancing On Daddy's Feet Sound of A Train You Yourself And I This Guitar I'm Impressed With Myself Don't Seem Right Deeper Than Sleep The songs were recorded with a 4-piece band (Pete Brown , Paul Beevis , Richard Milner & Mike Nichols) and other featured musicians including Herbie Flowers . Recording , Mixing and many other duties were all expertly handled by Pete Brown , son of Joe Brown . The album was co-produced by Dennis and Pete . 	The Fall 2009 Tour is barely over and Dennis not only announces a definite confirmed 30 dates for early spring 2010 tour - with more dates likely to follow - but also a release date of Feb 2010 for his eagerly awaited solo CD Number 3 called Post Cool ! January 2010 Dennis confirms Post Cool CD release date to be MARCH 8th 2010 . ... and reveals the CDs cover artwork design . Proper Records move release date to MARCH 15TH but it will still be available at the shows from February onwards. BUT .... Advance copies will be available through DL.COM , beginning February 15th , a whole month before the 'official' release date . Each and every copy ordered there will be signed by the man himself !
